Companion

Guests who present a valid escort certificate at the entrance gate may bring free escorts into the park. The guest in need of the attendant pays regular entrance. The attendant does not need to book a ticket in advance.
Birthdays

All guests, regardless of age, get free entry into Kongeparken on their birthday! Show valid credentials at the entrance gate. Credentials can be a bank card, certificate, passport or birth certificate. Copy of passport / birth certificate is also valid.
Seniors

Seniors can book tickets online in the same way as adults and children. A valid Certificate of concessionary must be displayed in the entrance gate (possibly identification that says one is over 67) along with the ticket.
Pregnant

Pregnant womans gets the opportunity to get a reduction of the price due to restrictions on the attractions. Tickets can be ordered online or purchased at the entrance gate. At attractions where pregnant women are advised not to drive, there will be signs at the entrance.

Groups

Groups of 20 or more people get extra favorable entrance fees to Kongeparken.
Children below 90cm

Children under 90 cm get free entry and do not need a ticket.
Animals

For the sake of the animals in Gråtassland, and other guests, dogs (or other animals) are not allowed into Kongeparken. Leading dogs for the blind are welcome.
Seasonpass

Seasonpass gives you unlimited access to Kongeparken! This is your personal key to the Kingdom. Several benefits are also included!

As the season changes, the experience in the park changes as well. During the high season in the summer it is about enjoying the attractions, cooling water games and activities in the sun. In autumn the park is changes into a magical world with golden leaves, pumpkins and hey bales. We also celebrate halloween with a scary ghost nights for older kids. During christmas we celebrate in a beautiful park with thousands of lights and fun christmas activities.

Jul i Kongeparken

Celebrate with the ones you hold dear in our beautiful park, with a million christmaslights. Make gifts, meet Santa, and taste our delicious Christmasbuffet.

This is a specialevent that is not included in the seasoncard, but you can get a ticket by getting our yearcard.

Practical information

Parking

The park has a large parkinglot at the front of the park, with a short distance to the park's main entrance.
Electric cars

We have charging stations for electric cars at the top of the parking lot, at the main entrance. With 5 charging stations. "First come, first serve"
Bus

If you take a bus from Stavanger, you must first take a train or bus to Sandnes. From sandnes you can take bus no. 23 or E90. The E90 bus stops on the bridge just below the park, but it runs few times during the day. The 23 bus often leaves once every half hour, and has a stop called Opstad v / Kongeparken.
Is there a parking for the disabled?

Private disabled parking is indicated on the upper part of the car park. These lots are located right at the main entrance and make it easy to get to the park.
Wheelchairs

We have some wheelchairs in the park that are avilable to rent, but there are a limited number and therefore it is important that you book in advance. To do this you can contact us at 51612666 or at mail info@kongeparken.no. If you would like more information, just contact us.
Dogs

Dogs cannot be around the park for the sake of the animals in Gråtassland and other guests. But we have a doghotel in the park
Barbecue

In the park we have our own barbecue pavilions, where it is possible to grill. These can be rented for 150 NOK, which includes charcoal and sparkling liquid.
Birthday

If a child visits us on his/hers birhtday, regardless of age, get free entry into Kongeparken on that day. Only valid during the summer season!
